Turkey holds some of the world's largest white-marble reserves, and supplies more marble into the United Kingdom than any country except Italy. Karpat sources directly from the four principal Turkish marble belts — wholesale to UK stone merchants, fabricators and specifiers, delivered duty-paid to your yard. No stock catalogue: every order is producer-matched to your colour, finish, format and quantity.
Region 01
Afyon — whites & greys
The Afyon belt produces Turkey's best-known whites: bright grounds with soft grey veining, the closest commercial equivalents to Italian Carrara and Calacatta. The range runs from clean near-white through to dove and tiger-veined greys. Favoured for floor and wall tile, vanity tops, feature cladding and bookmatched panels where a marble look is wanted at a lower landed cost than Italian material.
Region 02
Muğla — premium whites
Muğla yields the high end of the Turkish white range: pure, lightly veined whites, often faintly translucent. Specified where a clean, consistent white is the brief — luxury residential, hospitality interiors and bespoke fabrication. Block-selected and bookmatch-matched on request.
Region 03
Bursa & Marmara — beiges
The Bursa and Marmara region produces warm beiges with subtle banding, alongside classic grey-white Marmara marble. Long-standing favourites for memorial masonry, floor tile and vanity work where a softer, warmer tone is wanted. Good block consistency for repeat orders.
Region 04
Burdur — consistent creams
Burdur is valued above all for batch consistency: creams and beiges that hold their colour across multiple containers. The region to specify when a project runs over several deliveries and shade drift between batches is the risk to manage. Large, regular block output supports repeat project supply.
Formats & finishes
Slabs, tiles, blocks, cut-to-size.
Supplied as gangsaw slabs (typically 2cm and 3cm), modular tiles, rough and squared blocks, and cut-to-size to your drawings. Finishes: polished, honed, brushed, sandblasted, antique/tumbled and leather. Edge profiling and bookmatching to specification.
- Stock varieties — about 3–4 weeks order-to-door.
- Cut-to-spec & colour-matched — about 5–6 weeks.
- Sample-first — control samples dispatched and signed off before the balance is committed, so the delivered batch matches the approved range.
Marble enters Great Britain duty-free; we deliver duty-paid (DDP) to your yard, invoiced in GBP, with the import handled at our end. Buyers with their own forwarders can also take CFR or CIF.
How we source
Producer-matched, project-specified.
Send the variety (or a target look), finish, dimensions, quantity and arrival window. We approach producers in the relevant region on your behalf, return comparative offers within three working days, and dispatch samples ahead of order confirmation. Every shipment carries proof of preferential origin — the exporter's declaration on origin, or an EUR.1 — CE Declaration of Performance, and BS EN 12058 / 1469 test reports as applicable.
